Oleksandr Savchenko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1997, he began studying piano at the age of 13. It was in those years that the love of music was born. Interesting lessons, solo concerts, victories in competitions - all this lit a fire in the heart of a young pianist.
At the age of 15, he began his studies at the R. Glier Kyiv Institute of Music. Four difficult academic years in college flew by quickly and in 2018 he began his studies at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music.
Oleksandr is a laureate of international competitions and takes part in the symphony orchestra: "Youth Symphony Orchestra". He has performed in many countries such as: Germany, Spain, France, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Austria, etc.
Since 2014, Oleksandr Savchenko has been writing original poetry and piano music for chamber and symphony orchestras. To date, he has written over 100 songs.
Oleksandr is a Ukrainian refugee, who came to the United States in late May. Since the beginning of war in late February Aleksandr with his friends and brothers are helping people of Kyiv: large families, elderly, sick people, and many others that are affected by this devastating war in Ukraine. Their mission is to bring food, medications, and basic needs from western part of Ukraine to people that do not have a chance to escape the war.
Oleksandr will perform a variety of music, including music by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin and Rachmaninov. He will also play several of his original compositions.
